kerma tdi lists nozzles for canadian AAZ engines, no. 308. I called the guy and he doesn't know if they fit the two stage injectors. Does anyone know wether or not they do or another source for new AAZ injector nozzles? Giles sez bosch doesn't offer them so he doesn't either

As far as I can tell those are the same nozzles (so-called "GTD" or "308s")... just a different price.
And yup, the KCA-style nozzles are all the same dimensionally... GM/Mercedes/VW.

I'm just weirded out by the AAZ injector thing cause I have an AAZ here from a passat and it has the regular single stage injectors but the jetta engine in my caddy has the dual stage. anyone ever actually swap the nozzles from one style to the other?

Yup...I have. The dual stage injector bodies are slightly taller to accommodate the extra shims and springs but at the bottom where the nozzle installs they are the same and will handle any IDI KCA-style nozzle you want to install.

ok well that's interesting. I wonder why giles won't put nozzles in from the other injectors? Monark is another brand I wonder what they have to say about this topic...

Just a tip - keep in mind that if you are replacing your single stage injectors with the two stage ones, you will need different hard fuel lines because of the extra height of the two stage injectors. Also, if you are installing them yourself, first make sure that you can find a socket that will be deep enough to work on them - this can be difficult to do! They need a deeper socket than single stage injectors.
As a side note, I replaced my single stage injectors a couple of years ago with two stage ones (I had Giles install and balance some new "GTD" nozzles in the two stage bodies). To be honest, I really didn't notice much or any difference.

I was told by Giles that the dual spring injector need different delivery valves and that they need to be calabrated too for the AAZ ones.

Is that true?
Hmm I got a 94 Jetta, and its an AAZ that orignially had single spring injectors
i swapped to dual sping, same lines! haha
it fit!
But I have been thrinking about getting the pump done
I have another AAZ motor, complete.
It has a pump and dual spring injectors from day one
never heard it run.
been thinkin about tearin it down.
can a AAZ pump that ran single's be made to run dual springs easily?
I looked under the bosch parts books for VE pumps and the camplate is the same listed for all AAZ's
