Finally getting around to putting my motor back together and i was pulling off my camshaft pulley to put on the new head and i noticed there was no woodruff key in the slot, i looked all over my bench and this is the first time that i have had this camshaft pulley off the cam so i know i didnt lose it, anyone know where i can get a replacement? Also i cant find my clutch alignment tool should i just eye it up or does anyone have a homemade tool idea....

There is no key needed for the camshaft pulley. It is designed to rotate a bit to get everything lined up precisely. Why they cut a keyway into the camshaft in the first place is beyond me.

There's no woodruff for the cam. Do you see a corresponding slot in the cam pulley? Didn't think so.
The cams are ground from the same billet for gas or diesel. Gassers use the woodruff, diesels don't
As for the clutch just center it as best you can. I did dozens of clutch jobs back in the day without the tool. The clutch will slide a bit when you get the input shaft in the hole.

When you get to the "set the timing" part of the job there's an OK timing how-to linked from the FAQ... and it will become clear why there's no key.
