new to site, questions on year models

Hello all, I'm new to the site and am a new owner of two 82 Rabbit diesels, one runnig and one not. I am looking for a couple of manuals for it and I know about the Bentley (I owned some Vanagons years ago) but I am also looking at the Poor Richards how to keep a vw rabbit alive book. I have read good things about it. So, to get to the question, most of these manuals where published in 1980. Did anything change from 80 to 82 on the Rabbit?

I saw some of the poor Richard's manuals on amazom the other day.

Toward the end of your time frame, VW started utilizing 12 mm. headbolt diameters.
Possibly, pump timing changed some.
