AAZ upgrades
« on: March 21, 2011, 02:23:12 pm »
Hey, just put an aaz into my jetta, just wondering what are the best mods,

is it worth my while putting in different injectors even if im not changing the turbo? are gtd injectors from a 1.6td any better than the ones i already have?

Any good link for adjusting the pump and turbo?

Where can i get a 1.6 boost pin?

Thanks

In Ireland you should have access to a wrecking yard with Rover diesels, go find boost pins by the dozen. Don't forget the springs!

How much bigger are they? What engine did the ra/sb injectors come in?

There's more choice than that, and when we say 'Rover' in the UK, it's actually a car, the old rover 200 diesels. Other cars that came with the bosch pump are (some) older peugeot diesels (a lot had Lucas Pumps), some renaults, and, as said, the Land rover 200/300TDI.
