I can't recall which pin is what off hand, however they are labeled on the regulator....  One is a feed from the stator (or W terminal if you will)..  One is for the volt gauge or charge light (pending on application) third is a power for the regulator..  I forget if it's switched, for some reason I'm thinking it is, but I'll have to check for sure when I get to the shop...  I can post a diagram...

How about just a 90a mk2 alt? I need a better alt, and one that preferably has a stud for the charge wire as opposed to the two spades...

While were on that... How do I upgrade that wire on the two spades? Are they headlight size spades?

As mentioned, I'm using a A2 alternator.

The spades on your alternator are 3/8".  I've run as large as 8ga wires from each, straight to the battery.
