Hello my name is Robert, From Halifax NS, I own a 92 Golf Base, Its currently a project. Started as a 1.6 NA with 365K on it and I swapped it with a 1994 AAZ with 220K, New Tbelt, New Turbo, New Injection Pump, MK1 Rad, Big Bumpers, Single Rounds.
Heres how I bought it.
Heres how it sits at the end of the summer, dropped on 1.5" Eibach Springs.
Ive done all the work by myself, motor, wiring, etc
Coolant Res Deleted, Battery Relocated into the trunk, Plan to clean up the engine bay a bit more. Mount a FMIC, Piping, Newer MK1 Rad.
I got a few questions if people are willing to help.
Currently putting new brake lines, Brake booster hose, cleaning the engine bay up, fixing the shifter, doing some more work to it. Figuring out how to run my low coolant sensor from my coolant res into my Mk1 rad. -

Thanks. This is my 4th VW. Made my first mistake with a G60 MK2 JettaI drove 1/2 way across canada to get it home ( came back the last 700KM on a trailier. Then I bought this MK2 ( old man drove it ) Bought a Toliet for the motor for mine, Then had a 91 Jetta 1.6 NA for a DD, till I was given a Toyota 4Runner.
I converted from Hondas so figured do it right from the get go.

10 psi no problem, he// you can even get a full bar of jiggery pokery with no ill effects.

Last time I ran it was running 9psi with the 1.6TD boost pin. Not sure what its suppose to run, Its got the fuel cranked up a bit, governer mod. Just picked up a Spearco intercooler for 50.00 nothing wrong with it. Its bigger then Im gonna need but hey its 50.00 for a IC rated for over 450 HP... -

Hes coming down in 2 weeks I got some Mk2 parts for his. Im sure I can install this lol
