Why does my account log itself in?
« on: February 17, 2011, 09:23:05 pm »
Yeah, I log out and within 5-10 minutes when I come back it has logged back in. I think it's been doing this for less than a week.

Twice I've logged out, exited the site and came right back to find that I'm logged in again.

Is it my computer or the website?

'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

Probably your browser. If you log out then close it, it may keep you logged out.

Yeah, lots of times I log out and use the same window to go somewhere else and leave lots of tabs at the top open so I can leave different parts sites open and all that.

Guess I'll just log out and close the window every time then.

Still does it, I log out, close the window and right away when I get on this site it's logged in again.

A few times I've done that and after the 2nd or 3rd time logging out it'll stay logged out. Getting rather annoying.

I'd recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies and then closing and reopening your browser... login issues generally are caused by stale cookies.

Now that you mention it, I delete all that ever couple days but lately I haven't been able to get rid of about a dozen cookies and vwdiesel.net is one of 'em.

Maybe that's it then, idk it just started saving the cooky and before that it worked fine, this site has been in the favorites for 5 years ( ;D) without a problem.

Still logs in on its own, very random though, it might log in when I click log out and it might wait 1 minute or 1 day.
