Sorry to post here, but several have shown interst on this forum for buying a good 4.3 v6 diesel. The body is in very good contition, and the interior is without tears or rips and looks very nice (light metalic blue exterior; drk blue suede interior). New brakes, struts, batteries, radiator... Solid car. The current engine has 10,000 miles on a complete rebuild with rebuilt injection pump etc. and runs smooth and strong. The head gasket has started leaking (with aluminum heads), and blowing some antifreeze out the exhaust. We have another complete engine with a cast iron heads. It ran well, but the head gasket started to leak on it before we pulled it. But the current motor has aluminum heads, had them resurfaced twice and we still can't keep it sealed. Have lots of other engine parts and another injection pump, door panels etc. ARP says they can make a set of studs for it and gave me papers to fill out with exact measurements so they can make them. This would solve the head gasket problem since I can't find any new bolts for it. You may find some though. There it is!
$800 for all or will consider trade for some MK1 pickup parts.

I am finishing up putting a 1.6 td in my 80 Pickup and could use a cab level canopy, rear sway bar, front kyb shocks (coilovers?), heated seats (red) frame hitch for rear etc...
