Feeler: MK1 2.5" downpipe---sold
« on: January 29, 2011, 11:59:44 am »
Would anyone be interested in a 2.5" downpipe for MK1. Came off a K24/T3 style turbo so it would have 4 flange bolts. Carbon steel. Let me know.

I am trying to sell it for a buddy of mine that had it on a 1.8 gasser. I would guess it should fit either 1.6 or 1.9??? He was wanting about 200. If someone wants it for that please PM and I will get it from him Wednesday.

Unlikely it would fit the 1.9, from what I understand the block itself sits higher in the engine bay. 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 gassers and the 1.5 and 1.6 diesel motors are very, very similar.

The deck height of the 1.9 is 16mm taller or less than 3/4" ... don't know if that would work but I would think it would.
