I am parting out a 1.6TD that I bought to go in my caddy. It turns out that I am deciding to replace the crank in my AAZ as well as rebuild the injection pump, so I am selling my 1.6TD project. Ill list all the parts separately with prices and then a grand total for everything. Prices do not include shipping.

Mechanical Head with new oem head gasket and bolts (SOLD)
Bottom End Short Block with new oil pan (SOLD)
Injectors $80
Intake Manifold (SOLD)
Exhaust Manifold with new pyrometer and new vdo gauge $200
TD injection pump $200 (shipped)
Injection pump lines (SOLD)

The head has normal cracking in between valves but the compression was tested and within spec before the head was pulled. The carbon build up appears to be normal and started to clean right up with some household solvent.

You're in Fairfield/Vacaville huh? Just saw your craigslist ad and thought it looked familiar.

Do you have the compression numbers and is the head flat?

Interested in any trades?

I'm in the south bay and may well be interested in that head.

i have never able to compression test the motor because i never had a transmission mated up to it. I bought the motor to drop in my caddy, it was running when i purchased it. I checked the head and it is flat, I have a machinist straight edge and everything is flat as a pancake.

Thanks. I'm interested. Are you interested in a partial trade/is there anything you're looking for? I have some good parts in my garage- a vestatec front spoiler, an oem oilpan guard... a clean tailgate except for one dent.

Rootbeer brown. I can try to get some pics of it, and yes the hardware is in really good shape as well. I also have a fuel door in rootbeer and some inner bumper caps, solid rear window that has tint that would need to be removed, a clean egg-crate grill, possibly some other caddy specific parts...

The mask and the shot(s) are actually an IQ test. If you are wearing or circulating, you just failed the test. I can't feel sorry for you.
