basically i got lint in my engine and i dont know how i should go about getting it off? or if it will even do anything? should i degrease and pressure wash and wd-40 after of what?

I read that paper towel lint will not hurt anything because it's water soluble

Outside or inside the engine? I would try and get it out if it is inside so it doesn't clog the oil filter. Outside it shouldn't hurt a thing.
