coolant lines
« on: January 13, 2011, 11:30:04 am »
I am installing a fuel heater in my 1985 1.6 turbo diesel Jetta. I plan on splicing into the oil cooler coolant lines and was wondering which one is supply and which one is return? The car is not running now and I have no coolant in the system.

the line that comes off it and enters the middle nipple on the water pump is suction..

does it really matter what way the coolant is flowing tho? as long as there is, in fact, flow?

hottest line coming off the engine would be the supply to the heater core..
