Kinda strange, the reserve was met and they canceled it? The auction ended with a winner, now it is restarted with a $8000 minimum bid? Sounds like someone thinks they can get more money out of it. :o

'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

With that style of interior shouldn't that car have the tray that runs all the way across the bottom of the dash?

Gotta say I love how the auction ended at 8 grand, but the seller "mysteriously" backed out, and when he re listed, instead of the original 4 grand, he listed at 8.

Anyone else see the irony?

Depends what level interior but almost all i have seen had it when they had the carpet and upgraded seats, however the front seats are also not correct. They should match the bumpy bottom/back pattern of the back seat. Nice vw though! it takes alot of work to put one back to looking like that!
