T2 turbo... is it possible to make a T2T3?
« on: January 07, 2006, 10:32:06 pm »
I bought a Garrett T2 turbo. I also have two T3 turbos.

My question is simple: could I make a T2T3 with the exhaust side of the T2 and the compressor side from the T3?

Will I have to buy a T-25 turbocharger for the compression side?

Thanks

The compressor housing on the T2 is retained by a large snap ring, the T3 uses 6 bolts and retainers, the mounting isn't really compatable. The T2 also has a very small shaft compared to a T3, so the wheel wouldn't fit.
