As posted, I FINALLY got the money to buy a modified IP and new injectors from Giles. They are being shipped to Maine, where they will be installed in a rebuilt (1.00mm) bored over 1.6 N/A.
If the wife found out about it, she'd be a widow!!!
Few more little thingys done to it, and it should be home (Thanks, Scott!).
Stay safe, stay well. Jimmy.
That's awesome!!
Nothing better than a shiny new pump and injectors to make a guy feel good.

Yea, thanks. I read so much about how awesome they are I saved my pennies. I won't be placing in a NASCAR race, but I will have alot more pep going up some of the hills in upstate NY. I do love driving my 2009 TDI, but something about that N/A Mk2 I just can't shake. Maybe in the future I may go TD with it, I'll see.
Of course, would have been nice to buy it when the Canadian dollar was worth $.73 American..

Stay safe, stay well, stay warm. Jimmy.
Careful, you put a turbo on that thing and your next call at work will be to extinguish your front tires.

Happy New Year!

LMAO!! Had a deal for a TD with 180k, but a rebuilt bored out 1.00mm N/A engine was too good to pass up.
Guess the snow is slowing you down on your Synchro rebuild. If I had a nickel for every moron on the road during this storm, I'd have a 24k gold plated Jetta N/A.

Happy New Year to you and your family as well.
