I heard a few rumors on another forum about this, I didn't believe it ti'll I asked today...BRAND NEW VW TDI ALH shortblocks at the dealer 549$CAD!!!! I couldn't believe it.

Seriously? that's the cost of a set of pistons . Are you sure they are new or VW Canada rebuilds? It's too late to call the dealer now, but will tomorrow. Is it just ALH's ? Cause if they have AHU's also ,i'll order one tomorrow

ALH short block, NEW! However I we couldn't figure out if the crank is with it, it was Block and Pistons in descriptions. And I believe at the current momment they are sold out...

It was an everywhere thing they were part of the VW clearance 14 were available they are now NLA at that price. World impex discount had them at 469us i ordered 2 they canceled me ! Currently there some tdi jetta mufflers and some mkiv tdi egr coolers and many misc things.

The official price drop is usually around midnight I placed the order at 7am the next morning, from what i was told they were gone in minutes!Some folks from other forums told me occasionally the price will drop before the list is even published. We had no chance!! Which is a reminder to check that list regularly as it changes regularly new things added as sold outs fall off.
