WTB ahu turbo
« on: December 14, 2010, 06:12:36 am »
Hello again, This time i'm looking for a usable turbo from an ahu or 1z. I believe its the gt15? Mine seems to have a few pieces missing after i found the bits of valve seat and stem in it! The closer the quicker the better i was hoping to have this one back together this weekend! Thanks tim

I have a good core you can rebuild the fans are in good shape. the PO of my gf's jetta replaced it and it came with the car when we bought it. Not sure why it was bad most likely was burning oil?

How much are you looking to get on it, shipped same place as piston and rod from before? Have you ever had any luck rebuilding them? everyone on the other forums have kinda scared me away from trying to rebuild one myself?

I'd take 40 for it, I'll never use it. pretty sure it would fit in a 10.70 flat rate box. I have no clue on rebuilding them. Both fans are good though, it must have a bad seal making it burn oil.
