Turbo & rebuild info

Maybe we could get something like this in the FAQ. One thread that has the following info all in one place:
Where to get a T3/T4 hybrid turbo. What specs are good for running 20 lbs of boost in a modified 1.6TD?
Where to get a metal headgasket, and part #'s
Where to get total seal rings, and part #'s.
Updated ARP part #'s.
etc. etc.

Sometimes you have to look a lot, and still don't find anything. I've searched this forum repeatedly for "hybrid turbo", "T3/T4", etc. and haven't found the info I'm looking for.
Just thought that if we got it all together in one place, it would help the next guy trying to find all this info.
It's challenging enough already committing the time and money to do a performance rebuild on an engine that is largely overlooked and undervalued by the performance "community" at large. If I was building a Chevy V8, I'd be drowning in catalogs full of parts.
But, I love my VW diesel...

Write it up and I'll be happy to stick it in the FAQ section.

So...
What I'm really looking for here is if someone could post answers to these questions, since I don't know them and am looking for the parts to finish my rebuild. Then I'd be glad to list it all in one place so it gets up on the FAQ, & so the next guy can have easy access to this important info.
Anyone care to share the details asked for in my original post?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

most people dont run t3/t4 turbos.. least i dont know of any..
everybody is moving to the VNT turbos, and ball bearing turbos, being that they are the newest and bestest.
so most people are turning away from the old skool turbos..
metal headgasket, not sure, but the answers are out there. ive seen the #'s recently, and the #'s for the DIESEL head studs.
same thing for the rings.. you just gotta ask people pretty much if you cant find the answers thru the search function.
