I have some 91 corrado 4 bolt brake setup that the previous owner put on my rabbit. I was wondering if its possible to squeeze 14" wheels over the setup. I know corrado's came with 15" and the smallest diameter VW ran on them was 15".
Reason for asking is because I want narrower rims/tires for the winter, and its hard to find 15x5, easier to find 14x5.
GEE-BEE is right. When I put on my summer tires (15's) I take off my 10.1's and put on the 11" rotors. Stopping power is better and it looks cool seeing that much rotor lurking in there.

Cheers,
-JB
nice. I was looking into downsizing the rotors. I have PLENTY of braking with 11" rotors. So the 10" rotors from a scirocco will fit? Do I use the same calipers as with the G60? or how does that work?
G60 fit
G60 brakes are very cheap ( rotor's)
adapters for the MK1 from
[email protected], he also makes the ebrake cables for the caddy's
I did all new s/s hardlines and G60 brakes
22 mm master with MKII pedal swap , MKII brake switch
16V prop valves ( scirocco )
Stops like my Porsche
That's about what I have in my rabbit right now.
I was wondering what parts I would need to change to get the scirocco 10" brakes on the car. I think the calipers are different from the G60 and rocco, and of course brake pads and rotors are different.
So I just want to know if G60 calipers and rocco calipers are the same, and probably not.
Can you get good winter tires in appropriate sizes for a 15x5 wheel? If so you could get some diamond racing wheels, reasonable price, whatever offset.
nice, thanks mystery. Blizzaks WS60 are made 175/55/15
