FS: Speedos
« on: November 03, 2010, 04:15:20 pm »
I cleaned up my storage barn a bit the other day and found a number of speedometers.

- 1 Mk IV '00 TDI, ALH.  23xxxx km, works good.  $60

- 3 MK III '98 Jetta TDI, AHU speedo.  1 black faced in very good condition $50,  black faced in good but dirty in need of a detail $30 and finally a silver faced unit in very good condition for $75

- 1 MK III '98 Jetta GLX, VR6 5 spd, in good condition, $40

- 1 B4 Passat GLX VR6 auto, in good condition, a nice upgrade for either an AAZ or 1Z equipped B4 as it has the MFA display

I have pictures I'll upload later today or tomorrow of each unit.  They were all working when pulled and have been in dry storage since.

Thanks for looking.

I was hoping that this would go well. I never thought anyone would post pics of speedo's on here but you my friend have pulled it off well.

lol.  Thanks.  ;D  I thought given these are mostly TDs, TDIs or upgrades for them it wasn't out of line.

Reviving this from the dead.  I noticed today whilst in the attic that I still had a number of these left.  No sense keeping them.

It's for a Mk III dash.  I see no reason if you use the 1.6L in a Mk III it wouldn't work as the speedo is driven via cable and the tach off the alt same as the 1.6.

You're 2nd in line.  If the 1st buyer backs out for any reason I'll let you know.

I have a 1.6 in a body that was meant for an AAZ. All gauges work fine. For what it's worth.
