Someone might like the vnt 15 here.

I looked closer and to me it doesn't seem like bad pricing on most all the stuff. Not mine, but not enough $$$ for me to buy

Sold.
I have one question as I will need to re-clock the cold side. Will it work turned up towards the top of the engine? I've seen posts to change it (doesn't look that difficult), but I'm wondering if the cold side will hit the block (outlet) or is the outlet away from the engine when turned?
Thanks for posting this theman53!

why does everyone think that VNTs are almost impossible to clock? its just a turbo.. just re-clock it.. it doesnt take a degree in rocket science to re-clock a turbo.

Glad I could help...now someone owes me a cheap 17vb if you see it.
How about the TDI block and pieces. That looked like good stuff too.

The 17vb came off of the BEW and some ALH engine codes from what I have found.
The VNT 15 was discontinued in name only and then called the GT1749V the VA isn't much bigger at all. The true 17 is the 17vb and that is what I am after...or a 17/22 hybrid.
This is what I got for the info:
Garrett designated turbos intake Bore Exhaust Bore
GT 1749 V (GT15) 1.326" 1.441"
GT 1749 VA 1.390" 1.467"
GT 1749 VB (THE"17) 1.459" 1.505"
GT 2052 V(The "20) 1.550*** 1.550***
GT 2252 V 1.550 *** ***
GT 2356 1. 587 1.605
GT 2552 V to many sizes to list 1.550 to 1.700
