Hey Guys,
I've been looking for a newer car for a while to replace my '90 gas jetta. Of course it had to be a VW and I really wanted a diesel. So I just picked up a 2000 TDI jetta. It has 275,000km on it but it is immaculate inside and out. I bought it from the local dealer, where the car has a full service history.
The good:

There are a couple of issues but for the most part it is in phenomenal condition. I may post some questions here as I figure out what else needs to be done.
Thanks for looking!
Sweet find, looks great! Well used, but well taken-care-of... Have fun!
2000 TDI Jetta is most certainly what I want for my first real car (something newer then 20+ years old lol). That's snazzy! Congratulations.
You got a great find on that one.
Nice car man, I love my 2001 Jetta, and its working like a charm at 424,000kms

I like the pocket you have above the stereo, I';ve got a CD player lol
Thanks for the comment guys. I love the car so far. The fuel economy is way better than my gasser. I also like how the ALH sounds just a bit more diesely than the PD.

Some jerk has scraped the rocker underneath the drivers side rear door already though.

My girlfriend was bummed because we thought it only had the tape player. There is actually a "Phatbox" in the trunk though. Too bad we don't have the software...
my rear brakes were done and the calipers were dragging, once I fixed that i boosted my mileage atleast 100kms on a quarter tank. whats a phatbox? i may sound stupid lol

Not at all. I had no idea what it was until I looked it up. lol It is basically a digital media storage unit that is in the trunk in place of the factory 6 disc changer. It has an adapter cable that allows it to be connected to and controlled by the factory head unit.
I want me one of those lol Ill trade you my CD player
