actually what I want is a 93 to 95 model so I don't have to title it. does anyone know where there's a mk3 Golf or Jetta in those years WITH NO RUST? Gasser 4cyl 5spd. that's dead but not rusted.

Interested in a gasser? :D I have a rock-solid '98 Wolfsburg, you could always do a swap...

I'm interested in your gasser but I'll give the Caveman first refusal.
BTW, thanks

nice car, I need a manual shift car with rear drums, no power windows and (hopefully) heated seats. I wonder if there is such an animal?

Pretty much any base 5spd Jetta will suit you, but factory heated seats are hard to come by in these... I've installed aftermarket seat heat kits in two cars with good results, they're like $180 for both seats. Takes about a day to do both, you have to take the upholstery off... easier than it sounds. I clip off the metal hogrings to remove the covers, install the heat pads, then re-install the upholstery using nylon zip-ties, works like a charm and is MUCH easier than hogrings.
