I haven't tested them.  This engine starts excellent.  If it exhibited poor starting or poor running I'd be inclined.  It has low miles, fresh TB, alt and starter- add those up and I believe you'll be above my asking price for the entire driveline.  Could be used for a gas to diesel swap if someone wanted.

Why are you posting this in someone's classified thread? First of all, you are acting on behalf of a vendor to sell your own product and interfere with the OP's effort to get his engine sold. Second, the respondant doesn't even want a mk1 intake, he wants a mk2.  >:(

how well does this swap into an mk1, will the power steering swap as well ?

With the MK I mounts it should bolt right in.  I'm not sure about the PS rack though maybe someone in the know can chime in here?

The steering parts look very different from each other, so I will have to go with a No, the power steering wont swap.
