this fan uses a drive belt and mounts to the 675 mm 16 v fan

1990 Passat dual fan will bolt on the 675 mm radiator, It has a belt driving the aux fan
26-1/2 wide x 13 ' tall
I found four new all brass NOS radiators ( behr) Three a/c type and one non a/c type
A/c model's have angle top outlet to clear the alt on 1.6 a/c applications, there also used on the 16 v scirocco 16 v setup

And yes it fits the MK1 with the 675 mm scirocco 16 v radiator

As "neat" as that belt driven aux fan is, my first thought is great, something else to fail..
All new parts installed: fan's and belt
perfect fitment, runs for about 7 seconds after it reaches the 205 mark

what about changing the drives over to something like a Gates power belt set up. you could get better rpm with a smaller hub. just thinking about making the drive set up more reliable. I bet you can get another 30 or 40 cfm extra and no real slippage.
Do you have any pics of this radiator and fan installed? I would like to see the clearances on each side. Sounds like a great option.
