Dose the governor mod go for all pumps or just the turbo diesels?
And how can i turn up the boost on my k14 eco?

governor mod just limits the rpm of the engine (as like the governor of any engine)

to increase the boost you need to block the BOV  as well as boot a boost controller on the boost hose that goes to the wastegate.  you have to turn up the fuel to get any more power though.

i want to remove the governor and my pumps off a rabbit can i just follow the step i found?

I dont think i have any of that besides the wastegate it a ecodiesel

remove the governor?  bad idea.  It's a good safety device to have.   Best thing to do is to 'tweak' the governor for more rpm's.  If you are looking for REAL power, you need the LDA (boost enrichment device) which your eco does not have.  the LDA gives more fuel when boost comes on and then your car really starts to move :)

the 1.6TD ecodiesel does come with the BOV.   do a search on the forum for BOV and you should find how to disable it (it comes on at around 10-11 psi, and isn't cool when you are accelerating hard)

I think he means he wants to remove the governor to work on at...at least I hope so because the engine will either run away or not start without it.

As far as I understood, the eco doesn't have the pop valve.

i thought the only turbo idi to not come with a pop off valve was the 1.9.  if i am wrong then i guess i'm wrong.
