Need to fix Recaro Ortho seat---- any suggestions?
« on: October 18, 2010, 06:53:18 pm »
I purchased a manual adjust Recaro Ortho seat on Vortex awhile back and while it has been great for the last year, it is starting to have problems. Does anyone know how to keep it set on both sides? It seems solid on the track with the adjustment, but the other side moves some. It also is not able to be adjusted on one bolster, it seems to be stripped. Is there any way to fix either of these problems?
Thanks! 8)

Did I hear someone say that there were some kinda clips that hold the seat steady on the tracks? ???

Yes there are white clips that go onto the metal part of the seat in the track. I have no idea where to get them. I just checked autohaus and they didn't have them. Maybe rockauto or a dealer.

Are they the ones for the stock seats or the recaros?  How many do you need?

BTW Thanks

I thought they were the same stock and recaros. Either way I think you need a total of 4 for both seats...2 for each seat if that makes more sense.

yes, they are the same for the stock seats and the recaros,  at lest the ones I have.  Just be careful, all the ones I have has dealings with aren't very sturdy.
