95 AAZ wiring
« on: October 17, 2010, 06:20:25 pm »
I am working on an a Canadian 95 Golf TD AAZ engine.  When I received the car the electrical connections on the two vacuum valves that are situated near the fuel filter were unplugged.

Could someone look at their engine and tell me which plug goes to the valve that controls the dashpot?  on top of the injector pump that affects the idle speed.

I would need the colour code of the two wires of the proper plug.

TIA

The plug in that energizes with the ac system would be the one for the dashpot to increase the idle.  I think the other plugin puts vacuum to the back side of the turbo wastegate which is deactivated by the microswitch on the throttle lever.

Thanks for the info, I'll check that out.
