Hi,
Evidently I have a 1.9 TD that I thought was an AAZ but turns out to be something else (the id numbers are missing) but seems to be an industrial version of the AAZ probably an ADE.
The Injection Pump is Bosch VE pump VW: 028 130 082C.
I have heard that this is a governor in this pump and I'm wondering if it can be configured like the AAZ pump PN: 028 130 108 A(X) and what needs to be done.
Thanks,
David R.

you could buy an aaz pump, or just drive it with the pump thats in it, they all have governors the one in your pump just works differently, it will always maintain a certain rpm kind of like a cruise control, where as the regular vw pumps work more like a gasser throttle and limit power more than rpm
I have an ADG -1.9 na industrial engine. I tried it with the pump that came with it for the fun of it while i had my guy build up a proper one for me. It just would fall flat after about 2800-3000 rpms.
Thanks for the advice. I'm talking with Victor now about the Giles pump but it may be the new style with the hub on the shaft and I need the earlier style that adjusts by moving the pump body.
Might anyone know the difference between PN 028130108A and 028130108F ?
I understand the F version does not have the hose from the top of the aneroid (sp).
Thanks again,

OK - no help on that last question.
Anybody know where to get a detailed parts diagram and numbers for specific Bosch pumps?
I have the general stuff.
The only thorough source of part-specific Bosch pump info appears to be ESI, a proprietary and *very* expensive software package published by Bosch.
