Anyone know where to find bumper end caps?
« on: October 13, 2010, 12:43:39 pm »
I've got aluminum bumpers with the rubber molding down the middle and I need the left front rubber end cap.

A friend of mine was having slippery-parking-lot-syndrome with his '05 corolla........he now has a scrape down the side of his car ;D. My cap rubbed down the side of his car from the middle of the pass front door and I think hit his rear tire which is what ruined my end cap.

The cap I have bulges out at the groove rather than in, I think that's the only difference with having the rubber molding or not.

I'll try to get a picture up.
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

Someone on ebay sells em "new" in pairs for like $50-70. Other than that, you'll have to find either a Rabbit truck, or a 1983-84 GTI. Cabriolet are different, as are most of the Rabbit sedans (except LS models).

:D :D :D, any chance you can post up a picture? I'd do $10 any day but I want to make sure they're the right ones.

I might get some for the rear too if you have enough since currently they're incorrect.
