I have golf A2 GTD with SB engine (intercooled and 80HP), will 1.9 TD AAZ engine downpipe fit my engine? What diameter it has? Can I fit something else? Do you have any photos?

The downpipe will fit... but you'll have to adapt your exhaust to the different pipe. I suggest you stick with the 1.6GTD pipe (or go to a larger diameter if you need one)

What diameter is 1.9 TD AAZ downpipe? Will 1.9 TDI 1Z (90hp) also fit me?

Ik don't know the diameter of the original 1.9 DP, I know the 1.6TD pipes are VERY restrictive (45mm internal diameter) so I swapped mine for a custom freeflow 70mm.

The turbo on a TDI is positioned different than a 1.6/1.9TD so that won't fit.

Ok, thanks. :) Is 1.9 td dp less restrictive than 1.6 dp? Is it worth to swap 1.6 dp for 1.9? Will it fit without any modyfications as I marked on picture? Only cut somewhere where I marked on picture and stick with rest of exhaust? Thanks for help

it looks less restrictive but I don't know the diameter of the pipe.. could be somewhere between 45 and 55 I think... If you cut it before the flex it could fit with some ghetto-welding ;) so I suggest a real upgrade  8)

This is my pipe:

on a K24 turbo (behind the pipe on the 2nd photo is the original dp)

That downpipe pictured has a different flange used for the k03 turbo used on 1.9's from 95-97 I think.I have modified that pipe to fit on my 1.6td,the only thing you need to do is relocate the 2 bottom holes and cut the flange a little on the bottom.

If you can get a downpipe from a 93 and I think some 94's it will be a direct bolt on as those years used a k14 turbo which has the same bolt pattern as our 1.6 flange.

Other than that you'll have cut that flange off the exiting end and weld a peice of pipe onto it inorder to get the angle right underneath the car.
