How would "diesel transfer pressure" translate to French
« on: October 06, 2010, 04:02:17 am »
After the missus drove one of my GTD's for twenty miles with no oil in it, as punishment she now has a Peugeot 106.
Diesel of course! ;D
But it has the dreaded Lucas, CAV, Rotowhatnot DPC pump.
So after exhausting the english google & babelfish,
how would the bilingual on this forum translate "transfer pressure" for diesel injector pumps so I can raid the french car
forums for information. ;D

Cheers.

I don't know (  I do speak just a wee bit of French- I would probably recognize the term in French).  Why don't you post over in the French language section of the site?  I am sure one of the gents there would be glad to assist.

Wow, online tranlators have come on a bit, "pression de transfert diesel" seems to be just the job.
Usually babelfish and things are OK for the getting gist of it, but a bit hopeless for technical stuff.

Thanks for your help, :)
