Usually sounds like fuel filter. I carry a spare in the trunk now. Could be other things IP, air filter, fuel restriction, but it sounds like fuel filter
Being that it's an AAZ I'd be inclined to immediately check the crank sprocket for wobble.... your crank nose may be worn and the timing has suddenly shifted dramatically.If there *is* appreciable wobble, park the car until you get it fixed... search on "AAZ crank" for all the details.

I'm putting my money on a fuel supply issue, but check the crank pulley for wobble anyway.
