I'm in Savannah right now. Of course I am going to loose my job at the end of the year, and who knows where I will end up.

I don't plan on selling the car at this point. The "for sale" link is for parts I have for sale that are left over from the swap and other various mods. Also thanks, I'm glad you liked the video. It does not scrape anymore because I finally rolled my fenders diy style with a rubber mallet. It worked like a charm.

Yeah TD engines are hard to find in the states, and it is especially bad here in the southeast. You will be lucky if you find a working turbo mill for less than $2K anywhere near here. If you do get one that needs to be rebuilt you can easily spend that money on parts building your engine. It is insane how these things can nickel and dime you to death. My point is if the $2700 engine is legit and has receipts to prove it then I would highly recommend you consider it if you can scrape that kind of coin together.

As for how much power you can make Dave at Passenger Performance (935racer on here iirc) made 200HP on one, but it didn't last long. I think a lot of people on here get to the 150HP range just by turning the fuel and boost up.

his didn't last because of a faulty injector. Sad it was a maintenance item and not over boost. MJF in Finland had one in the 250 range that failed too. IIRC it was a maintenance item that caused it to go as well.
