WTB: MKII Front end sheetmetal & parts in New England.
« on: October 02, 2010, 11:17:21 am »
My Jetta got punched in the right front corner yesterday afternoon. I am totally bummed, I JUST put in a new headliner and a Tilt and Slide sunroof in, this weekend was supposed to be for putting in the "new" leather seats....  :'(

Need to get back on the road so that'll have to wait.

I'll need a hood, right fender, front bumper (small), Radiator, late (Eco-Diesel) style TD air box. I don't think the unibody is wrecked, everything looks straight door and fender aren't binding up.

The right head light, core support, and grille are wrecked but, I have a round headlight core support however, I'll need to find the headlights and grill, looking for plain old Hella US market headlights for 9004 bulbs. if I can't them I'll go Aero again for now.

Let me know what you've got and how much. May be more to add to the list when I get the hood open later today.

Oh, I also need the frame for the bottom of the back seat.

Thanks,

Got the hood off, Air box had a hole punched in it by the head light so I need a late (Eco-Diesel) style TD air box. I had one and sold it like 6 months ago... DOH!

If you don't mind traveling some, my father's got some hoods and fenders in the basement of his shop in Clinton, CT that have been off cars for several years (like 10-15). I also have a friend down the road who's got a notable collection of MK2 metal parts. Maybe you could coordinate with both and find what you need. Neither will have the airbox though. Let me know if you want phone numbers.
