In general there's no winning reason to delete the EGR anymore, in the era of ULSD which leaves no oily residue to speak of.
As well, the ECU will throw a permanent CEL, the engine will take slightly longer to warm up (since the system is water-cooled) and fuel economy is reported to get slightly worse.
If it's not leaking most people leave 'em be these days, particularly in any district with physical emission inspections.
OK, then an EGR delete is not the droid you're looking for.

I think Vincent just made a Star Wars joke!

Jebus.... took you guys long enough....
On the other hand, most of you guys are probably too young to remember the *real* Star Wars.
Dont forget about Kerma TDI.
Charlie will do about any tune you want, including EGR Delete.
Getting mine done in a week I think.
Effff Kerma... Not a person i buy from.
But you can reduce the EGR rate by vcds-
Channel 3: EGR
-To decrease the EGR rate, increase the number to the highest possible value (typically 33768).
-This will prevent/slow down the intake manifold clogging problem and reduce smoke.
-Though the MAF at idle is still within specifications (370 mg/h) do not use this adaptation on the road :-)
-Again, this EGR setting is for off-road use only !!!
