AAZ turbo questions

I am having an issue finding a brass nozzle fitting that can fit the little hole in the turbo part pictured. I got this engine shipped in a crate and it came with the brass fitting cut and unusable. Thus, I had to drill it out and I am having trouble finding a good brass fitting to go in after I tap new thread. The fitting connected to the injection pump via a small hose (I think?).
Does any one have any suggestions on where to find a brass fitting?
Also, can any one tell me what the vacuum line (I think it's an EKG??) should hook up to when I get this puppy in my engine bay???

Does any one know what Kind of Injection Pump this is? It has a line running from it to the turbo. I don't know if it is an ECO pump or not. An ECO pump might be ideal because that would mean the engine never really got stressed...
Thanks for looking!!!

It's a way a manufacturer can decrease the life/performance of an otherwise bulletproof diesel engine.

Now it isn't that bad is it? Exhaust Gas Recirculation is what he is talking about. Or at least that is the EGR I know. Look it up on google.

And it's almost completely harmless to the engine now, thanks to ULSD.

How about running your TD on grease?? That's what I want to do with mine...

it diverts some of the exhaust gas back into the inlet to try and reduce the emissions, but when it mixes with the crank case/ rocker cover gasses it turns into a thick black sludge that clogs stuff up, you find the insides of the inlet maifold are sh*tted up to a point where the ports and plenum section is significantly smaller and more restricted than it should be, which kind of strangles the engines breathing and reduces the power.

EGR = engine pooping in its own mouth basically.
i have never had an engine run worse by eliminating it, thats for sure.
and the new ULSD isnt as bad because there is simply nothing in it now. no lube for the inj pump (well, not enough atleast)
i still hate EGRs tho. VWs never had them till late in life. middle of the mk3 line i believe..

I have that intake piece available if you just want to replace it, $15 shipped in the US. I sold the main part of the intake. I'll include the EGR block-off plate I made for it.

On second thought, looking at mine, it's blocked off from the factory with a piece of plastic. Mine was the eco pump originally, as is yours; you don't need the pressure line out because you have no boost enrichment. If you're going to convert it to a real TD (or Giles) injection pump, you'll need that intake pressure sense hose to the pump, if you're running it stock, just plug it up with JB weld or something.
