I've always wondered what's in there since the body is not shiny. Turns out they are Champion Junk! The tip is starting to erode and I am sure if I left them in a tip will eventually fall off.

I have been apprehensive about the job due to tight access especially the 2 behind the IP. That was unfounded and it actually went quite well, took about an hour. Gear wrench, extra long needle nose pliers, magetic pickup were indispensible tools. I took the IP hardlines off for better clearance. Also pulled the IP throttle cable grommet off the mount for better access to #1 & 2 plugs. The old plugs came off easily. On reassembly, I put the nuts on #1 & 2 plugs most of the way first before install and cut a slot in the copper strip so that I didn't have to fight with putting the nuts on after the plugs are in. I am glad it's done with no mishap. Anyone know what the book time to change 4 glow plugs so I can send myself a bill? :D
