it's off a "smart" car. I'm almost thinking of picking one up. I'm working on a compound setup, and this might spool my k26 up rather quickly..
I rented a Bobcat loader for work last year, it had a turbo just about that size too.
And yes, it is cute
moT
Makes me want to turbocharge a briggs and stratton.

HAHA! Oddly enough, i was looking for turbo small enough for my pocket bike. that's when i found this!! it's the smallest one(exhaust driven  ) i've come across so far..
How did you find this turbo? and if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you?
Is the turbine + exhaust manifold cast in one piece or separate?
What are the turbine & compressor wheel specs? A/R etc. If you can post any part # shown on the turbo it will be helpful too.
I ask because if I get a Smart in the near future I'd like a spare turbo to customize for a little more flow... I can chip tune these cars, just want to see if a little turbo upgrade will yield good results
935racer has turbo pocketbike videos on his computer - I saw it and it's hard to tell if the the bike is much faster but it's pretty neat nonetheless.
Yeah I downloaded those onto Dave's computer, as I have a pocket bike and have thought of it many times. It is definatly faster then a stock bike.

Haha neat.. what displacement is your pocketbike? 50cc, 70cc?
A friend has a pocketbike and his car once broke down on a highway in Port Coquitlam. Being deaf he's unable to call for help, so he grabbed the pocketbike from the trunk of his car and rode home in Mission. His hands and face were pretty numb from the cold weather. They're fun to ride on... not sure about 50cc, but my gf's little brother has a 70cc dirtbike and it accelerates quite nicely, goes about 60km/h tops. I want one so I can ride some trails, a mini turbo or some go-juice for hills would be fun. Might pick up a pocketbike or dirtbike shell and buy a 70-110cc motor (depending on size) separately to minimize cost.
Mine is a 34cc Chinese import, it was realy cheap like $400 CAD two years ago, b4 they became popular. It might do 50km/h top end, and takes along time to come up on the pipe. It definatly could use so performance help, but I keep breaking it and have stopped riding it for the last few month's. Now that I live in PG I dont have any where to ride till spring comes so mabey I will play around with it turbo it or somthing silly.
