I have a prothe 1.9 head and i have new vw hardware for the head. i attempted to do a trial run of porting a used bad tdi head i had but i just dont feel comfortable doing it. does anyone know of any reputable vw machinists or are any of you capable of just doing match porting and cleaning of the casting? i was quoted $700 from scch and id have to ship it to new hampshire. i am located in sourthern california. thanks in advance

Best there is Extrude a hone in Paramount Calif.

PD150 intake was 375.00 normal dealer, 275.00 is what i paid

I did a new 1.9 AAZ head assy also..

He has a flow bench and specializes in VW/Audi. I had mine ported, polished, and complete valve job with swirl polished stainless valves for 550.00. That was shipped both ways. Gained almost double on the intake side for flow and 25% more on exhaust over stock.
