gonna be scrapping the 1.6 that was pulled out of the jetta, and just wanted to see if anyone needed anything before it goes.  complete minus the crank and water pump pullies, alt and bracket.  everything else is there.  its an 11mm block with a hydraulic head on it.  this thread tells a little bit more about why it was pulled.  It ran okay, but overheated way fast.  figured it was a cracked block or a warped head.  http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=26084.0     situation came up where I ended up with a newish motor for my car all ready to go.  stuff will be cheap so get it before it gets given to the tweakers....
