On the way to work yesterday, I had a good little run. I turned onto a backroad, the same direction as him. He was really flying, and I had to give it everything to catch up, and at 140 I was able to slowly pull ahead of him. An intersection and stop sign up ahead was rapidly getting bigger. He showed no signs of slowing, so I held on and braked hard at the last moment, but the Westjet 737, flying slow and low on final approach, cruised right on through. I had to laugh, it must have been funny to see from the airplane, looking down on an old, smoke trailing jetta pulling ahead!
