Funky Idle

So recently my car has been idling higher than normal, usually hovers around 1200 or so, but once in a while it will idle normally, usually after being started after a long drive. A bit of history on the car its a 1.9 aaz with a giles pump a boost at 18lbs. Car also consumes a oil but doesnt smoke blue or anything.
Any ideas?

How much oil is being consumed? Maybe its drinking enough oil to bring it up 1-200 rpms?? Possibility eh?

Yeah other than that it runs really well, gets good mileage and still has lots of power.
