  couple questions
  
  1.What is the green ring on driveshaft?
  2. What was the broken triangle plate for ?
  
  also when I signed on today I got a warning about a (exploit javascript obfuscation[type774] possible problem?

• The green ring is the seal support. It's fine as it is, unless you have a leak there.
  The other bit is what's left of the inner CV joint protector. I'd replace it if your car was a gasser, cause it's to keep the joint boot from drying out from the downpipe.
