Sorry, searching for sputter just gets me idle problems and I don't know how else to describe it.
83 Rabbit with a 1.6GTD that has been running awesome for a year now. I was forced to reset the timing this weekend due to a passenger motor mount replacement and now it sputters at high rpms. Did I error on the mechanical timing? or the pump timing? I don't have the tools know what the pump timing is but returned it as close as possible to the same point I removed it from.
Any knowledge shared is appreciated.
