Well it's all about climbing the ladder in life.
« on: July 15, 2010, 07:33:47 pm »
And the next step in my ladder is this.

The last 12 months I've been involved in VW's and what not.

Well, i've found that the last 3 months here at the dealership haven't been as fruitful as I' expected. Plus I live a 45 minute drive to the dealership.

So I scoured Craigslist not too long ago, and found a position offered at Audi.

I go interview, and basically talk to the sales manager as if i got the job, as confidence is the only way to roll.

Explained my tenure with him and expressed how i wouldn't mind working up to the premium brands.

Well today, he called like he promised and offered me the position.

If i truly decide to take it. I start august 1st like i mentioned in the meeting.

I have another option but that's in a totally different realm of work.

I'll still be involved with VW since the Audi dealership is also affiliated with VW's, but at a different store.

For comparison sake, lets just put it this way.

My BEST month in income equates to the WORST month I'd make at Audi. [cars sold vs commission per car]

Well, I told one of my best friends about the potential move, and funny enough he had asked me that same question.

Lets just put it this way.

the r8 has enough of a profit that the commission can have you live frugally for roughly 3 months, give or take of course

And thank you for the congratulations. It's a good feeling to know that I can make substantially more in the same family of cars.

Now if they only offered the A4 Avant TDi in north america.

oh well one can dream.

Don't get me wrong in the sense that i know they can be amazing cars.
It started back in the mid eighties when we had to push a 5000 into the garage every day. Just recently worked at a shop which serviced quite a few. Trying to turn the radio off in a 2005 S6 etc etc. Then there other things which i won't mention.
