Hey guys

iam considering doing the TDI conversion on my VW T4 1.9TD abl,quite a few guys have done this on the t4forum but thought i"d put as many feelers out to gain much info as poss,my questions are what should i be expecting grunt / power wise after tuning
of coarse getting her mapped is a quick way to gain but there's more to tuning then that i also want to keep it safe EG: she"s my daily driver & get the best MPG + she"s a veggie dub ;D
converted to run on SVO/WVO
i was thinking of having the head ported for better flow the exhaust from the the manifold is all sorted "Hybrid Impreza system going into a side exit
this is the diameter of the front pipe flange
once cut to accept the 2.5" pipe

all the best bit from the damage rally car linished/prepped ready for migging

front pipe flange seem welded & shaped
although this was time consuming i got the most satisfaction from getting as much flow & shaping as poss with the burr bit,it really is flowed well even if i do say so myself

front pipe all done ready to be tacked with the mig to the rest of the hybrid impreza system 2.5" to the tail exit

,,must of saved 25 Kilo over the full standard verrrrrrry restricted system

the donor car will be a golf 1.9TDI around the 1996/1997 age
