I got mine from Autohausaz.com.  I bought the Grant Rings, but you can buy the Goetze ones also.  My Grant rings were right at the minimum opening when pre-installing in the cylinder bores.  I had to open a few up to get to the minimum, no big deal.  When I installed my oil pump, I just made sure that the keyed drive lined up with my rotary vacuum pump.  Also, there is a small o-ring type gasket that fits between the oil pump and vacuum pump on the keyed shaft.  I replaced mine while I had it out.  Some people don't replace it, but I have heard that the o-ring type gasket creates a better seal for the oil pump.

take and mic the bores. at the top, middle, and bottom of the pistons travel. that will tell you what pistons you need.

Also, once you pull the head off, they will be marked with their size on the top surface (under the carbon).

Hey I'm in BC too. If you haven't already got the rings i may have a full set of grant's at my parents house i could sell to you for less.
PM me if you're interested.
(i can't garentee that i have a full set though. I bought 4 sets and i sold one but i remember braking an oil ring. Between the two boxes i still have i definitely have a full set. However, 1 box was the three piece oil ring and the other box was the 2 piece oil ring style. Both styles work just fine. Let me know if you want to save a couple bucks - i need to sell them as i dont have a 1.6 anymore and im super short on change so i'd easily go halfers)
