Post your Fuelly Badge.
« on: July 01, 2010, 05:20:51 pm »
I've been playing around with a website www.fuelly.com and tracking my consumption on my cars. Since my mk2 GTI I find this a good means to give me a reminder of what I've done in regards to driving and where i've gone.

Anyways, give it a look see if you haven't seen it before, and post your car.

here's my 1990 Jetta Turbo Diesel

That looks pretty cool. I signed up, but I can't find where I grab the image from to put in my signature... I'll put it in once I figure it out

*Edit - got it. For anyone else, click on the car listed on the bottom left, the add /sig to the end of the URL at the top and copy the first box of code!

yeah duder, it's pretty rad knowing what you get in comparison to other people. Provided of course you drive a car with the stock engine ;)

Rado, you live out in coquitlam yah?

I think i saw you pull into a gasser station looking for a diesel pump last week.

Yep, live in Coquitlam, work at the KMS Tools in Langley.
If it was a white Corrado, most likely me! I don't know who all carries diesel yet, so I've found myself rolling in and out a few times. If you see me again give a honk and a wave!

the next fill up on the car will be super poor.

it's sitting at just above the red line on empty and sitting at 630+ km.

Now that the car's fixed and everything runs somewhat, as it should then i might see some dramatic increases in fuel economy.

BUT the downside, I won't be driving the car nearly as much as before. I'm only going to work a 10 minute walk from work.

Might just take the wife's scooter when she's in hong kong!

People often ask me what kind of mileage I get in my VW.

I haven't the foggiest idea.
