MK4 Gas to TDI swap

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has did teh conversion in the MK4 Chassis.

1999.5 VW Jetta TDI Bosch .216mm injectors and Malone stage 2, soon 11mm pump and vnt 22(parked for the winter)
2010 VW Golf City 2.0L "Hers"

There are a few out there and it's alot of work for something you can buy off the used car lot.

There are a few out there and it's alot of work for something you can buy off the used car lot.

True oh so true. Lot of work for a car that you can buy fairly dam cheap.

its my GF has a 2010 Golf City which runs the A4 chassis and she wanted to know about the swap lol. I think Id rather go 1.8T Swap instead.

Its not hard to wire. I dont consider it a lot of work. You will need the engine wiring engine and trans. The engine harness will plug right in. You will have to wire the glow plugs but not much else. The harnesses between the cars are almost identical.
